Why I Created The Very Merry Movie Lover Bundle
Since the blog began, I’ve shared movie-themed dinners around the holidays. To name a few: A Practical Magic-Inspired Dinner, Beatlejuice, A Night for the Living Dinner Party, and Hocus Pocus Watch Party. Plus, my DIY Harry Potter Christmas Tree.
When I track my stats, these items consistently rank the most viewed year after year, and their audiences have grown every year since they were created. In October, I made the Beatlejuice Trivia Deck, Hocus Pocus Trivia Deck, and Practical Magic Trivia Deck for my Etsy shop, and they were popular to a level I was not expecting.
This showed me there is an intersection between what I love, movie-themed events (especially around the holidays), and what others are interested in.
To say I created a product with you in mind, I mean it.
Why Mocktails, not Cocktails
I stopped drinking alcohol in 2019.
When I stopped drinking, my go-to thing was creating specialty drinks that provide the feeling of celebration often associated with cocktails, but of course, without the alcohol.
In January 2020, the Holding Space Hawai’i team (a non-profit organization I’m a part of in Hawai’i) and I put on a mocktail fundraiser event in which I hand-crafted specialty mocktails for 50 people.
Just as I did for the event, it was important to me that I crafted non-alcoholic cocktails with ingredients that were a little above your basic “mocktail” recipes. Although I’ll admit, I did keep the Home Alone “mocktail” recipe on the simpler side, because it was a play on being a kid again. But even the simplest recipes fail to disappoint most of the time.

When creating the Very Merry Movie Lover Bundle, I considered what I would purchase in a Christmas movie bundle and what I would like to receive for the cost.
My trivia sets on Etsy sell for $3.50–$4.50 each, and this kit includes five sets (50 questions each) plus a beautifully designed 38-page recipe book. I designed and crafted each recipe myself to ensure they looked great for the camera and tasted great!
I put a lot of love, effort, and creativity into making something worth your money. I truly believe the $25 price tag is in line with the quality and care behind it.

My Involvement
In March 2025, I’ll celebrate two years as a volunteer at the animal sanctuary. I am part of the habitat care team, dedicated to the well-being of our six-pig residents. I ensure their living spaces are clean, comfortable, and enriching. Over time, my involvement has grown. I am also part of the wellness exam team, where I help ensure all animal sanctuary residents receive any care or medical attention they may need.
