Hi there! I am so glad we found each other. If you haven’t gathered already, my name is Ali. I was raised in Arizona, until age 15 when big changes came and our family moved to Hawai’i – which I now consider my home.
While my parents still reside in Hawai’i, I currently live in Colorado with my husband and fur-baby, Maximus Glutimus.
I’m an avid lover of all things inspirational. My greatest joys include travel, animal snuggles, crafting, cooking, losing myself in nature, and photographing it all.
In addition to being a book nerd, I am also equally as nerdy about writing. I am an author of both fiction and non-fiction. Aside from my routine blog publications, you can also enjoy my other work in the portfolio tab above.
You will find much of my content is inspired by the beautiful places, people, and experiences I’ve had in all of the parts of this world I’ve been lucky enough to place my feet – from North America to Europe, and Central America I am sharing it all here.
Just as there are an infinite number of books to devour, there is no end to the places we can experience. But even with my big ambitions to travel and share from all over the world, some of my most cherished travel experiences have occurred right here in the United States. Some of my favorite trips to share are weekend getaways and road trip itineraries.
It’s not all about travel. Although I have been advised by countless how-to blog guides to stick with one topic and only share that, I just can’t. My life and interests, like all of yours, are far too dimensional to stay in one realm. I consider myself a lifelong learner, and many of the discoveries I make while on my journey of “lifelong learning” I want to share with you.
Thank you 3,000 for being here.
Please feel free to reach out and leave comments. This blog was not solely created as an outlet for my crazy writing brain, but as a place for us to get connected and be inspired by one another.

What’s to come…
I’m so excited to announce, after years of planning, dreaming, and silently fearing (if only a healthy teensy-bit) I will be hiking the Pacific Crest Trail summer of 2022. And, I will be sharing my journey all along the way.
